Develop your Coaching Skills at Kinharvie Institute this Summer

By Martin Pearson, 17-Jun-2013

Over the the Summer and early Autumn we are delivering two training events which may be of interest to you if you are looking to develop your coaching skills.

On 9th July we are offering a free two hour Introduction to Gestalt Coaching workshop for those interested in learning more about coaching and the Gestalt approach which we adopt in the coaching we offer. The session will introduce participants to the main Gestalt concepts and their application in coaching and working with others.

Then in September, we will be running our six-day experiential coach training programme, Partnering for ChangeThe programme, delivered in partnership with The Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (GIC), is a an outstanding learning opportunity for anyone seeking to develop, expand and enhance their coaching knowledge and skills and for those who aim to become a more effective coach.

Those who participated in the programme last year said the following about their experience:

  • “One of the best courses I have ever done, very rich. It was a very powerful experience ….. the way the theory was presented was very good and it was good to have so many practicums.”

      - David Ramsey, Assistant Service Manager, Inverclyde Council

  • "The Gestalt Coaching course helped me get back to basics. It reminded me of simple yet effective techniques for making my coaching more effective and the value of using a holistic approach to help the coachee increase their self-awareness and hence enable them to change. It was fun too!”

        - Rachel Weiss, Senior Partner, Rowan Consultancy

  • ‘The most enlightening development opportunity of my career. There was a well balanced mix of theory and practice which was delivered and supported by interesting and skilled facilitators. For me the Gestalt approach invites humanity back into the workplace and I’m seeing the positive impact already.’

       - Mairi McTaggart, Senior Employee Development Advisor)
